Dear Customers and Friends

As you’re all aware, the cost of living crisis and rising costs remain with us all. We at the Ship are trying to weather the storm along with all of you. On this basis, to protect our business for the long term, we’ve decided to reduce our food service hours for the time being. This is to make sure we continue to provide the best service we can in the current environment.

We are open for lunch and dinner services on Friday and Saturday and lunch service on Sunday.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays at lunchtime, we will serve our delicious home-made soup and one of Rosie’s finest sausage rolls. However, we can provide our current menu for tables of 4 or more if booked in advance (at least 48 hours) and meals are pre-ordered.

The kitchen will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday evenings but we are booking some of your favourite food vans on these evenings to provide for our local community.

Sundays are very popular and we would encourage you to book in advance. It would be very helpful if you could reserve in advance for Fridays and Saturdays too!

This decision has not been taken lightly but it is necessary in order to look after our staff and the business. We are very grateful to our staff who all work so hard for us and the Ship and who look after you and the community as best they can, and to you, our customers and friends.
